The Rapid Support Forces bomb a World Food Programme convoy in North Kordofan

The genocidal militia in Darfur, Sudan, the Rapid Support Forces, have used drones to attack a food convoy of the World Food Programme in the Allah Karim area of North Kordofan State. The RSF are escalating their attacks on civilian targets in Kordofan region as they take on significant strategic military defeats. Political representatives supporting the RSF are touring Europe lobbying for a ceasefire.

The RSF regularly escalate their atrocities and war crimes as part of their war tactics whenever they suffer military defeats.

The drones used in the attack have been likely supplied by the United Arab Emirates which is the main weapons supplies to the RSF.

US Senior Advisor to Africa Massad Bolous condemned the attacked but did not mention the RSF.

The Sudanese Armed forces have recently liberated Dilling and Kaduquli in South Kardofan and Sudan’s de facto President General Fatah al-Burhan said that there won’t be peace in Sudan unless the Rapid Support Forces are eliminated.

Meanwhile, Sudan’s Journalists Union, have reiterated their calls for the release of imprisoned journalist Muammar Ibrahim, who has been abducted by the RSF more than 100 days ago in the city of Al-Fashir.
