Earlier this morning, the BBC reported that previous Prince, Andrew Mountbatten, has been arrested and interrogated by the British Police over his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. He previously had his titles removed by the King and was moved out of the royal lodges. The British Police said that he is being investigated over misconduct while in public office.
This is the first high-profile arrest of one of Jeffrey Epstein’s friends and clients following the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files. Andrew Mountbatten is extensively featured in the Jeffrey Epstein files and Virginia Giuffre recounted detailed encounters with him, including the encounters in which he raped her. Andrew Mountbatten denied meeting with Virginia Giuffre but photographs of him with her still exist. Other photographs of the previous prince reveal him in disturbing situations with potential victims.
Prince Andrew is mentioned in the Jeffrey Epstein files at least 173 times and retained his friendship with him even after Jeffrey Epstein was convicted of human-trafficking.
King Charles issued a statement which is being reproduced below. Today also happens top be Andrew Mountbatten’s birthday (he turned 66).
The family of Virginia Giuffre also issued a statement saying that their hearts have been lifted after they received the news that no one is above the law.
