Iranian missile launches decreased significantly overnight, with launches potentially pausing for an extended period after Iran suffered a series of strikes on its military capabilities and major oil facilities in Tehran yesterday. Yesterday night, Iran launched missile barrages at Israel and the United Arab Emirates but no missile barrages have been reported so far during this night.
Israel struck Iran’s major oil facilities in the capital city of Tehran yesterday causing an environmental disaster.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Assembly of Experts have appointed Ali Khamenei’s son as his successor, Mojtaba Khamenei and is now officially the Supreme Leader of Iran. He has not made a public appearance so far and the regime is trying to protect him after he survived an Israeli an airstrike.
Reactions to the announcement were mixed in Tehran with supporters of the regime cheering the new Supreme Leader while others called for his death.
The Islamic regime has vowed to escalate its actions after Israel’s attack on Tehran’s oil facilities.
