Kyiv was quite earlier today after Russia launched up to 500 drones and missiles across Kyiv and Ukraine in the early hours of Saturday. At least four civilians in Kyiv were killed as a result of the strikes. Russia has slightly decreased its airstrikes against Ukraine during this year due to productivity issues but Russia is currently getting a reprieve with oil sales and also oil prices thanks to the actions of the US in relation with its war on Iran.
Fears are rising that Russia is currently adding to its resources which it can use to fund its war effort against Ukraine. Prior to the break-out of the war on Iran, Russia was struggling significantly with its financial budget to fund its war. Ukraine is also successfully recapturing lost territory at a gradual pace.
Ukraine is currently providing services to Saudi Arabia and Gulf States including the UAE over air defence systems against Iranian drones: Ukrainians have the expertise and equipment to counter the drone attacks in the Gulf because Russia also uses Iranian-designed drones to target Ukraine.
