Do you feel in control, Robert Abela?

Disgraced ex-Prime Minister Joseph Muscat is sending a very explicit message from Spain about who is in control of the Labour Party. Apart from taking credit for Labour’s election victory, Joseph Muscat is holding up five fingers, not four, showing that he is also betting on winning the next general election.

ONE is even featuring him as a live commentator to Robert Abela’s swearing in ceremony.

The featuring of a previous party leader in a political party’s election campaign is highly unusual because former party leaders give space to their successors. Joseph Muscat not only has more control than Robert Abela in the party, effectively having a veto over who its leader is, but the Labour Party itself is glorifying his power and influence, with no shame at all over the fact that the party has turned into his criminal cult.

Joseph Muscat has featured frequently in the last general election campaign, endorsed many candidates including Deputy Prime-Minister Ian Borg and effectively has had his reputation rehabilitated by the Labour Party and the government.

Was he so afraid of a change in government that he went abroad for the elections? Did he try to do a “John Dalli”?
