Among the relationships that Yorgen Fenech had was with Maria Grech, the former wife of Film Commissioner Johann Grech. Eventually, she eloped with Iosif Galea who was charged with corruption and money-laundering.
He used to call her “Maria ic-Chump”, with “chump” often used to describe someone who is easy to have sex with.
Yorgen Fenech was part of Joseph Muscat’s inner circle of social friends, with whom he exchanged messages and attended parties and events. Some of these interactions have been documented through their chats, which show that Yorgen Fenech was well acquainted with members of Joseph Muscat’s inner circle.
Today, he still dates the ex-prison official Svetlana Muscat, who was fired from her post for introducing him to businessman Reuben Farrugia in prison and for having an illicit relationship with him. She now works at the National Skills Council.
