Doing the bidding of Yorgen Fenech: Labour and the General Workers’ Union

Today in court, Melvin Theuma continued his shocking testimony about his relationship with Yorgen Fenech, his role and involvement in the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia, and what Fenech told him about it. Yorgen Fenech talked a lot with Melvin Theuma, presuming that the criminal Theuma would always keep his omertà with regard to him, so much so that Yorgen Fenech could share his insecurities and fears with Melvin Theuma.

Yorgen Fenech clearly feared being found out for what he did, so he used to tell Melvin Theuma about his plans and intentions to divert attention away from him. We have already seen here how Yorgen Fenech tried to defend himself by buying favour with a newspaper owner, but Yorgen Fenech went even further and tried to spread rumours and diversions which, in fact, have been propagated relentlessly by the Labour Party media and also the media of the General Workers’ Union.

Yorgen Fenech wanted public attention diverted onto Daphne Caruana Galizia’s laptop, which was in the hands of the German police. He also wanted the public to consider Matthew Caruana Galizia’s involvement in his mother’s murder for leaving the car outside.

Another rumour that Yorgen Fenech tried to spread, which has not been picked up as enthusiastically by the Labour press as the other rumours, is the rumour that Chris Cardona ordered the hit on Daphne Caruana Galizia.

We also know who enabled the devious propaganda, including that about her laptop, by the Labour Party media: Yorgen Fenech’s former friend, Keith Schembri, who used to influence and even control the Labour Party’s propaganda through its official and unofficial channels.
