The Labour Party has renewed its campaign of hate against Daphne Caruana Galizia and those demanding justice for her. Labour is renewing its campaign by focusing its attacks on Peter Agius and David Casa for pressuring the European Commission to investigate Malta’s failures in its justice system and the lack of justice for Daphne Caruana Galizia.
Without releasing an official statement on its position, and while amplifying the message further through its platforms, the Labour Party has already established the message it wants to put out to the public through its MEPs. There are today hundreds, if not thousands, of comments online by Labour Party supporters spewing vile hatred against those who will be protesting in Valletta today for justice for Daphne.
The Labour Party is pretending abroad that it is a social-democratic party, with its members being very sorry about the verdict on Yorgen Fenech. In reality, they continue to spread disinformation and foster and feed their machine of hate and ignorance through their party media.
So far, the official position of the Labour Party and the Prime Minister on the verdict of Yorgen Fenech has been total silence with the pretense of prudence and “let the institutions work”. They want us to forget about it and keep going on with our daily lives as if nothing wrong had happened.
In reality, the country is deeply broken, scared, and ultimately divided between those who want their country to regain some decency and normalcy again, and the Labour Party and its supporters, who are relishing in their bile, hatred, and contemptuous arrogance.
