Israel murders 7 aid workers of the World Central Kitchen

The Israeli Defense Forces have targeted and hit an aid convoy in Gaza of the World Central Kitchen that killed 7 aid workers in the attack. Among the dead is a Polish citizen but the EU Commission has to yet issue a formal statement about the attack.

This is not the first time that Israel has targeted aid convoys in Gazaย  having fired at an aid convoy in February and in another case firing at Palestinians gathering around an aid convoy. The World Central Kitchen is one of the few aid organisations in Gaza helping to feed the Gazan population, as aid is deliberately being blocked by the IDF from reaching the ground, causing hunger and famine among the Gazan population.
