Russia does what it does best and strikes a hospital in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine: Russian advance takes a break

Yesterday, Russia has done what it does best when fighting its foreign enemies: bombing their hospitals. A hospital in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine was bombed with ballistic missiles resulting in 4 casualties and 20 wounded.

Russia’s advance on Ukrainian territory west of Donbas has stalled during this week with the Russians putting less military hardware than usual in their effort to advance. Russia seems to be running out of tanks and artillery shells as Ukrainians keep targeting Russian ammunition bases and weapons storage locations with long-range missiles and drones. Meanwhile, the Russian Director of Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Naryshkin has issued a statement saying that “Most of the goals of the special military operation in Ukraine have been achieved”.

Russia is struggling to keep extending its war in Ukraine as it faces an economic crisis back home with soaring inflation rates and a persisting currency crisis compounded with no access to foreign currency markets.
