President Trump casually says that Putin will retaliate against Ukraine after losing his strategic nuclear bombers

President Donald Trump has just casually announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin will be retaliating against Ukraine following its successful attack on Russia’s strategic nuclear bombers. The Russian bombers have been used on a regular basis to bomb Ukrainian cities and civilians.

On June 1, Ukraine successfully executed operation “Spider Web”, targeting Russian airbases, and destroying nearly up to a half of Russia’s remaining strategic nuclear bombers.

Russian airstrikes against Ukraine and its cities have actually increased ever since President Trump brokered his peace talks between Russia and Ukraine. These airstrikes deliberately target Ukrainian civilians, including civilian infrastructure such as schools and hospitals.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine would not have attacked Russiaโ€™s bombers if Russia had accepted Ukraineโ€™s unconditional proposal for a thirty-day ceasefire. The Ukrainian President also awarded medals to the officials responsible for the attack in a ceremony held at the presidential palace.
