Kurt Rizzo arrested as part of investigation on police leaks

Updated: Kurt Rizzo has appointed Ishmael Psaila as his lawyer.

Senior police officer Kurt Rizzo has been arrested and interrogated over the Police’s ongoing investigation on internal leaks to drug traffickers, however it has not been confirmed if he will be arraigned. Kurt Rizzo is the son of the previous Police Commissioner John Rizzo.

Several police officers are currently being investigated for their links with drug traffickers with one also having been arraigned in Court.
