The Sudanese Army captures the city of Wad Madani from the RSF

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) have captured the city of Wad Madani from the Rapid Support Forces after it had been under their occupation since December 2023. Celebrations in Wad Madani were euphoric as the Sudanese Armed Forces entered the city. Prisoners who were starved and tortured by the RSF were freed and a cache of weapons that originated from the United Arab Emirates was also found.

The SAF is also registering progress in capital city of Khartoum which is still occupied by RSF militants while hitting RSF targets with airstrikes across the country.

Celebrations took place across Sudan as the SAF registered its latest victory against the RSF who are gradually losing ground to the armed forces. Residents across Sudan fear occupation by the genocidal RSF and in some areas like Al-Fashir, residents are also fighting the RSF along with the SAF.

Last week, the US Department of State condemned the RSF for committing genocide and sanctioned its leader.
