The leader of the Rapid Support Forces, Mohammad Hamdan Daglo Mousa (Hemedti) declared a “government of peace and unity” for Sudan, whilst his genocidal militias raped and tortured women in Zamzam where they have also killed up to 500 people. Up to 400,000 Sudanese fled Zamzam refugee camp to Tawila in Jabal Marrah. The RSF have retaliated against the people of Zamzam following their defeat in Khartoum: a common pattern of the paramilitary terrorists after military setbacks.
The idea that Hemedti controls any form of legitimacy in Sudan other than by brutal terror and acts of violence is gaining track as European countries met together without official Sudanese representatives to pressure the Sudanese government to enter into peace talks with the RSF war criminals. The Sudanese in London held a protest against the sham conference.
Hemedti’s rump government, which has said will be issuing new passports and ID cards, is also being supported by Kenya. The United Arab Emirates sponsors and finances the RSF.
