Earlier this evening, Adrian Agius (one of the Tal-Maksar brothers) and Jamie Vella have been found guilty by a jury of supplying the bomb to the hitmen that killed Daphne Caruana Galizia.
Separately, Jamie Vella, Adrian and Robert Agius, and George Degiorgio have been found guilty of murdering lawyer, Carmel Chircop.
Prosecutors during the trial said that the murder of Daphne Caruana Gliaiza, was motivated by her work.
Outside the Court building, Matthew Caruana Galizia said that the verdict is important not just for journalists but also for Malta and that the work of his mother needs to be completed to bring full justice.
The men will now be sentenced by the Judge.
Adrian Agius and Jamie Vella provided a bomb to Vincent Muscat, Alfred Degiorgio and George Degiorgio to kill Daphne Caruana Galizia. She was killed by the bomb attached to her car on the 16th October 2017.
The man accused of commissioning the murder, Yorgen Fenech, will soon go on trial.
