It’s official – Alex Borg submits PN leadership bid after dramatic social media tease

Alex Borg has become the first to formally submit his declaration of interest for the PN leadership race, the party’s Electoral, Records and Data Commission confirmed this morning at 11:30 a.m.

The move follows yesterday’s cinematic social media reel, where Borg teased his ambitions with sweeping visuals and calls for a “generational shift.” With flair now backed by formal intent, Borg cements his frontrunner status, at least in timing.

While Adrian Delia has publicly announced intentions, Borg is now officially in the running under Article 90a of the PN Statute.

The call for interest remains open until Sunday, 29th June at 2 p.m.
