Ex-Judge Antonio Mizzi appointed by the Minister Clifton Grima to “investigate” €2.3 million in stolen funds from MCAST

In order to publicly and shamelessly cover-up himself and his own trusted officials, the Education Minister Clifton Grima appointed the ex-Labour Judge Antonio Mizzi to supposedly investigate MCAST’s and the bureuacratic failings that led to a financial manager steal up to €2.3 million funds.

Clearly, what should be pointed out in this case is that, in order to investigate a major management failure, the minister appointed a friendly judge. Judge Antonio Mizzi, a staunchly pro-Labour former judge, is a favourite for government appointments to “investigate failings” and a regular contender for such roles. Ex-Judge Antonio Mizzi will have the authority to find failings everywhere except for those by the Minister and his associates.

We are glad to be providing a service in which we state things exactly as they are.
