EU High Representative Kaja Kallas takes a different position from European leaders and tells the truth: Russia does not want to stop the war

The EU High Representative Kaja Kallas has taken a different approach from European leaders, who earlier today, released a very ingratiating statement toward President Donald Trump that praised him for meeting with war criminal Vladimir Putin.

EU High Representative and Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, stated that the reality is that Russia does not want to end the war. She added that the EU will continue working on a 19th sanctions package against Russia to maintain pressure.

The High Representative stated that the root cause of the war in Ukraine is Russia’s imperialist policy and not some alleged imbalance in Europe’s architecture. On yesterday’s talks between Trump and Putin, the High Representative said that Putin was simply dragging negotiations without making any commitments.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky is set to visit Washington on Monday to meet with President Trump.
