Committee to Protect Journalists highlight starving conditions of Sudanese journalist in Al-Fashir

The Committee to Protect Journalists has highlighted the starving conditions of Sudanese journalist in the city of Al-Fashir, Muammar Ibrahim. The CPJ also said that the deteriorating health conditions of Muammar Ibrahim also reflect the conditions of the starving population in the city.

More footage has been released by the genocidal militia the Rapid Support Forces of their members torturing and killing civilians in the city. The footage can be found below. The RSF are funded and supplied by the United Arab Emirates and lately have been using Colombian mercenaries on their assault of the city.

Al-Fashir, the capital of North Darfur, has been besieged by the RSF for up to two years, who have failed to capture it in multiple assault attempts. However, the city is now going through a famine as the genocidal militia block any aid and traffic coming and leaving the city. Al-Fashir and Abu Shouk Camp are also being shelled and droned on a regular basis.

The RSF systematically employs war crimes as a military tactic, particularly after battlefield setbacks. Its leadership exploits these atrocities as leverage, treating innocent civilians as hostages and pawns in the militiaโ€™s strategy.
