There will be no Palestinian State west of the Jordan River – Benjamin Netanyahu

In a televised speech, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised Israelis that there will be no Palestinian State west of the Jordan River. He also accused world leaders that are recognising the State of Palestine of rewarding terror. The Israeli Premier also bragged that under his leadership, Israel resisted the formation of a Palestinian state “with determination and political wisdom”.

The Israeli Premier’s statement was made just as as world leaders gathered in New York for the 80th United Nations General Assembly and the Conference on Palestine that will take place later on today. The United Nations General Assembly has already voted for a resolution to recognise the State of Palestine in its plenary. The resolution also calls for the immediate release of the hostages held by Hamas and for its disarmament. Malta’s Prime Minister Robert Abela is also in New York and is expected to announce Malta’s recognition of the State of Palestine.

Many countries have already recognised the State of Palestine with the UK also issuing a map with Palestine’s 1967 borders that includes currently occupied territory by Israel and its settlers. Prime Minister Netanyahu has vowed to increase the illegal Jewish settlements in Palestine. The Israeli Premier is also wanted by the International Criminal Court over war crimes in Gaza. A copy of the UK’s map is being posted below.

The translation of Netanyahu’s statement is also posted below along with his video clip.

“I have a clear message to those leaders who recognise a Palestinian state after the horrendous October 7 massacre:
You are granting a huge prize to terror.
This will not happen.
There will not be a Palestinian state west of the Jordan.
For years I prevented the establishment of such a terror state—under immense pressure at home and abroad.
We did so with determination and with diplomatic wisdom.
We doubled Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria—and we will continue on this path.
The response to this attempt to impose a terror state upon us will be given after I return from the United States.
Wait.”
