The Rapid Support Forces in Darfur, Sudan, remain undeterred and well equipped to keep committing war crimes and capturing more territory despite global outcry about their actions in the city of Al-Fashir.
The RSF have just captured Sudan’s biggest oil deposit, capturing the the Heglig oil fields along with the 90th Brigade HQ in the South Kordofan State. The RSF’s advance has been reported among other reports of war crimes and further brutality by the UAE-backed genocidal militia in the West and South Kordofan states.
Prior to their recent advances in South Kordofan, the RSF have been firing rockets and drones at civilians. A drone hit a kindergarten in the city of Kalouqi last Friday, killing dozens of children.
The US government has previously requested the Untied Arab Emirates to stop their weapons flow to the RSF. Despite what seems to have been a temporary cutback, the RSF still seem to be well supplied to keep increasing their territorial gains.
An RSF soldier has recently uploaded a video of himself and what seems to be a Brazilian ASTROS-II SS-30 rocket that is used for air-defence. According to journalist Umut รaฤrฤฑ Sar, the Arabic voice in the background is a Libyan dialect.
Tens of thousands of people have died in the siege of Al-Fashir, besieged by the RSF before it was finally captured. Thousands of others were massacred by the RSF when they captured the city targeted specifically Masalit people and the non-Arabic tribes.
