Ten civilians killed in Ukrainian cities by Russian drone attacks as Trump pressures Ukraine to capitulate

Ten people were killed in Ukraine overnight in a Russian Shahed drone attack on the cities of Chernihiv and Okhtyrka. Another 37 people were injured. Many others were trapped under the rubble of collapsed apartment buildings. 

The escalatory attacks are taking place just as President Trump is pressuring President Volodymyr Zelensky to capitulate to a proposed US-Kremlin pact. In comments made to the press yesterday, President Trump said that he is unhappy about the fact that President Zelensky hasn’t read his latest proposal.

President Zelensky is now in the UK holding talks with Prime Minister Keir Starmer. French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz is also present.
