Russia launches up to 241 drones against Ukrainian cities overnight: Chernobyl protective cover malfucntional

Russia has launched up to 241 drone against Ukrainian cities overnight including the city of Kremenchuk continuing its escalatory attacks against Ukrainian civilians while the US pressure Ukraine to capitulate to Russia. President Zelensky said he is engaged in constructive discussions with the US representatives namely Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff.

The Ukrainian authorities have also reported that the protective cover over Chernobyl Reactor 4 is no longer working and excessive radiation risks leaking out of the reactor. The reactor was hit by Russian drone strikes earlier this year in February.

The EU Commission is currently scrambling to reach a deal with Belgium to use Russia’s frozen asset to issue Ukraine with a reparations loan.
