New Year in Iran turned volatile with massive protests against the Islamic regime flaring up across the country and in various cities including in Tehran, Ishafan, Shiraz and Kermanshah. Protests kept going through the new year and are ongoing. The protests have been triggered by stagflation with soaring food prices and mark the first time the country is in tumult since 2022.
The Islamic regime in Iran has also been significantly weakened following last year’s 12-day war with Israel.
