The cover-up of Rosianne Cutajar’s investigation has been systematic and also very explicit, and it all probably started with a pledge for clemency by the Attorney-General to Rosianne Cutajar when Cutajar himself held a meeting with the Attorney-General.
Rosianne Cutajar’s lawyer, Edward Gatt was also present for this meeting.
This very bizarre and unusual meeting was not only highly irregular but also potentially illegal given that Rosianne Cutajar herself has been investigated over money-laundering and the embezzlement of public funds.
Do Cleaven and Carlos Pace have the same privilege given that they are currently charged with money-laundering? Do they have the privilege of holding a meeting with the Attorney-General?
Surprisingly, when the meeting took place, the Attorney-General was not confronted about it by the authorities. However, it should be puzzling and also scandalous that a criminal suspect that was investigated for money-laundering and embezzlement of public funds and her lawyer held a meeting with the Attorney-General. That doesn’t sound quite right.
There is also another issue here. The publication of the chats prompted two investigations: an investigation against Rosianne Cutajar over her ITS contract and an investigation over the publication of the chats: this happened simultaneously while the content-material was already in the hands of the Police. The investigation against me led to a speedy Court case, which I am also fighting via the Constitutional Court, while on the other hand, the investigation on Rosianne Cutajar never reached the light of day with many of her charges being potentially prescribed by the legal time-window.
None of this makes sense unless the Attorney-General is involved in a very systematic and blatant criminal conspiracy to cover up criminal charges against a sitting Member of Parliamentโwhich seems to be exactly the case.
