Airlines gradually restart operations in the United Arab Emirates

The commercial flagship carrier of the Untied Arab Emirates, Emirates (airlines) is restarting its operations today. Etihad Airways is expected to relaunch flights in the Emirates tomorrow.

Flights in the UAE were suspected last Saturday when Iran bombed US military bases in the region. Air defences in the region are now being strengthened by British and Ukrainian personnel and Britain ahs also given permission to the US to its its bases during the ongoing operations.

Qatar and the UAE paid for additional hotel stays to foreign tourists who missed their flights back home. Malta declared its solidarity for Qatar and the UAE and is in contact Maltese citizens.

Military operations against Iran by Israel and the US are ongoing with Israeli sources estimating that Iran has only up to 2,000 ballistic missiles left in its stockpiles with heavily reduced launching capabilities.
