Russia transitions to a full war-time totalitarian dystopia as losses at the front keep increasing

Russia is transitioning into a full-time war economy and totalitarian dystopia as losses at the front line keep mounting. Russian casualties in Ukraine are estimated to have increased to more than 30,000 Russian soldiers per month with the total Russian casualties so far amounting up to 1.3 million soldiers. Ukraine is also making gradual gains at the front-lines.

Russia plans to recruit more than 400,000 soldiers in its army this year, with up to 80,000 already recruited. Russia also plans to train up to one million children in drone technology and piloting. Meanwhile, the Russian government has shut down most internet and communication services in the country prompting sporadic protests by teenagers across several cities which were swiftly subdued by government security forces and police. The new repressive measures come from a decree by Vladimir Putin himself who gave extended powers to the FSB to limit internet access.

Russia’s wartime economy is still in disarray and the latest internet restrictions will continue to cause further economic hardship as payments services are made inaccessible. Ukraine is preventing Russia from exploiting current oil prices by systematically cutting its oil exports via attacks on its oil terminals in Ust-Luga, Primorsk and Novorossiysk. Russia keeps striking back at Ukraine by specifically targeting civilians. Latest footage of Russian aerial bombardments of civilians posted below (Kharkiv).

In the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia, Russia has just announced the relocation of up to 114,000 Russians to these regions as part of the ongoing Russification and ethnic cleansing of Ukrainians in Ukraine.

Talks between Ukraine and Russia as mediated by the US have long collapsed as Russia insists on its maximalist demands of being granted territory which it has not conquered.
