Maltese-flagged oil-tanker enters the Strait of Hormuz

Marine Traffic is reporting that the Maltese-flagged oil-tanker ,VLCC Agios Fanourios I, has entered the Strait of Hormuz. It is the first oil tanker that enters the Strait following the announcement of the blockade by US President Donald Trump.

The Strait of Hormuz is being cleared of mines by the US Navy with the Omani side being gradually re-opened for shipping while the Iranian side remains blocked.

President Donald Trump has declared that he is ready to continue talks with the Iranian regime but insisted that Iran must not be allowed to enrich uranium โ€” a concession the Iranian regime is refusing to give up.
