here’s one serious matter that political parties in this general election campaign have ignored completely. Malta’s national security lies in the hands of a Minister who is actively busy conspiring and working to prevent the prosecution of corrupt politicians. Minister Byron Camilleri built a Police Force that specifically ensures the protection of corrupt Labour Party politicians, but in doing so, he has weakened Malta’s security and policing institutions.
Our national security is in the hands of a Minister whose Brigadier had an army base robbed by low-time drug dealers. The Minister has protected a Libyan warlord in Malta at the expense of many Maltese victims and has also welcomed to Malta Libya’s military rump tin-pot dictator, who landed in Malta and met with the Minister in full military uniform.
Our border system is being controlled by a foreign company, with sensitive data being handled by foreign entities who do not share our security and national interests.
Minister Byron Camilleri is creating a veritable security disaster in Malta, and his failures and track record are being ignored as the Minister of Finance pledges manna from heaven to the working class. He’s also being endorsed by the same corrupt politician he is protecting.
Byron Camilleri is not running Malta’s security: he is running security for the Labour Party with the security systems of the country primed to serve Labour’s interests. This is reflected in how the system is currently working at all of its levels: from prisoners, including Jimmy Magro, who have already voted in this election, violating the voting prohibitions on prisoners, to explicitly having a Police Commissioner veto a prosecution against a Labour Party politician.
Along with Justice Minister Jonathan Attard, Byron Camilleri is the prime architect of Labour’s corruption and authoritarianism. It’s incredible how these individuals all started out as socialists and turned out to work as full-time criminal conspirators covering-up and supporting millionaire corrupt politicians. What a total wreck.
