Labour’s fourth consecutive victory in the general election may, at face value, give the impression that the party is overwhelming and invincible, but nothing could be further from the truth.
Joseph Muscat’s empire of dirt is collapsing, and the only thing standing between a normal Malta and Joseph Muscat’s Labour Party is a decent and organised opposition that is willing to do the right thing and take the right position. So far, Opposition Leader Alex Borg is failing because he wants to deliver an imitation of Labour when, in fact, the numbers explicitly show that the Maltese are increasingly rejecting the Labour Party and its criminal brand of populist politics.
This is not just my opinion. The numbers tell this story quite clearly.
The Labour Party has gone from strength to strength to a gradual decline and weakness, and its support is dwindling day by day. Don’t get the impression that social media is telling you the whole story: social media and the press in Malta are heavily manipulated by the Labour government, which is monopolising the information space. But the information space is just one of many factors that determine election results.
I present below a chart of Labour’s declining support to illustrate the reality of the numbers as clearly as possible.
Meanwhile, the disgraced former Prime Minister Joseph Muscat risks being exposed by Yorgen Fenech. The corrupt commercial project of his friends at Shoreline Mall is bankrupt, his favoured candidate for the Labour Party leadership has lost the chance to take over the party, and his circle of friends is growing ever smaller, with the remaining individuals around him representing the very bottom of the barrel of our society.
Don’t believe Joseph Muscat. He is not strong. He is getting weaker day by day, and his empire of dirt is collapsing.
