Earlier this week, two men currently both investigated for giving a fake government job, launched a book about the Knight’s Infirmary in Valletta (today, the Mediterranean Conference Centre). MCC CEO Pierre Fenech is currently under police investigation for giving a fake job to Rosianne Cutajar and Tourism Minister Clayton Bartolo is currently under investigation for giving a fake job to his wife, Amanda Muscat.
Present also to the party was Film Commissioner Johann Grech and also Speaker of Parliament Anฤกlu Farrugia who postponed a vote in favour of the damning report by the Standards Commissioner on Clayton Bartolo.
The wheels of justice turn very slowly in this country often lulling the criminal suspects into an over-confident sense of comfort that prolongs the abuse and the circus.
