One of the most hideous and useless people I have ever experienced in the Labour Party administration is Ramona Attard, and she is now being co-opted in Parliament by the Prime Minister.
Ramona Attard’s history in the Labour Party involves her basically being a heinous and hateful propogandist having worked in this role at the Office of the Prime Minister under Joseph Muscat. Her contribution to the party is feeding it hateful propaganda and disinformation, to supposedly, depict the Party in good light. Today, she wants to suppress the press and free speech. In reality, she always looked after her own interest by ensuring to appease her political superiors with horrible propoganda.
I have no idea why she was ever chosen to occupy a post in the Party in the first place, other than that she had many friends in Labour like Charlon Gouder. As a person, she is shallow, idiotic, amoral, indifferent, and undoubtedly incompetent. She received a flurry of bogus public contracts like many other Labour Party personnel and has not to show for her work in Labour or in the government, except for hateful propaganda and disinformation which was published on ONE. Somehow, she eventually became close to the Prime Minister himself, despite having worked for Joseph Muscat. She even took some of Prime Minister Robert Abela’s previous clients, all the while doing government work and exploiting her government connections to help the clients. It’s an incredible journey from being one of Joseph Muscat’s lieutenants to being a close associate of his successor: only the best opportunists can manage such a change.
Recently she was on Jon Mallia’s show speaking about Daphne Caruana Galizia and said that she relates to her along with other crap. Ramona Attard was one of the busiest government propogandists in the anti-Daphne department, conjuring hateful and fake stories about her on a daily basis which she then disseminated to the press and to the Party’s propaganda machine. I cringed and felt my stomach churning as I listened to her speaking about the murdered journalists and eventually I stopped halfway.
The Prime Minister thinks that appeasing allies (and what an ally) is more valuable to him than political strategy. Nothing in what he does make sense. Ramona Attard will alienate many people away from the Labour. Eyes will turn the other way as they see her stupidity lurching forward from miles away. This is like turning the Labour Party into a chicken coop like the one Alfrted Sant built during his time: filling the Labour’s benches and its top positions with the biggest imbeciles in politics.
