Finnish MEP Mika Aaltola says the US will withdraw troops from Europe in three weeks if Ukraine doesn’t surrender

The Maltese Herald sent questions to the EPP and Finnish MEP Mika Aaltola for statements he made earlier this morning saying that the United States will withdraw its troops from Europe in three weeks if Ukraine doesn’t surrender. The Maltese Herald was told by the MEP’s official, that the MEP is currently unavailable for comment as he is on his way to Finland from Brussels. We were told to send our questions via email.

ย The United States and Russia are effectively discussing bilateral relations and strategic alignment, while Ukraine is determined to refuse to surrender to both Russia’s and the US’ demands. The Finnish MEP said that President Trump is prioritising Russia’s “security concerns” echoing the growing consensus in Europe that President Trump is strategically aligning the United States with Russia against Ukraine and Europe. President Trump demanded $500 billion of mineral resources from Ukraine, a proposal which President Zelensky refused outright. Yesterday, President Trump launched an attack on President Zelensky demanding from him to hold fresh elections.

We will be providing more important updates about these historic events later on.
