Israel strikes Gaza with airstrikes as protests against Hamas continue

Mass protests against Hamas have continued in Gaza, yesterday, with protesters demanding the end of Hamas’ rule and the handover of all Israeli hostages to end the war. Hamas is vowing to remain in power and claimed that the ongoing protests by the Palestinians in Gaza are an expression of their pain against the Israeli aggression.

Hamas has repeatedly threatened Palestinian citizens in Gaza and conducted up to 600 extra-judicial killings since October 7th 2023.

Israel kept hitting Gaza with airstrikes despite the ongoing protests as the Israeli government vowed to continue its war against Hamas. The Israeli Defence Forces are also demanding Palestinian citizens behind the Netzarim Corridor to evacuate their homes and go further south before launching a series of heavy airstrikes in the area.
