SKY News investigation reveals none of the aid workers killed by Israel were Hamas

A Sky News investigation into the killing of 15 Palestinian aid and medical workers found no evidence that the murdered civilians were Hamas members. The investigation was conducted in cooperation with Airwars which is a private intelligence and analysis company that studies civilian harm in wars and armed conflicts. The investigation also revealed that none of the aid workers were armed.

The Israeli Defense Forces shot and killed 15 Palestinian first-responders in the Tal-Sultan area in Rafah on March 23rd. The victims included a UN worker, eight paramedics from the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) and, six first-responders from the Gazan Civil Defence. The Maltese government condemned the attack and called for an investigation.

Israel has regularly targeted aid workers during its war on Gaza and has killed up to 400 aid workers since the war started. Humanitarian aid in Gaza is still blocked by Israel.
