Freemasonry in Malta is in steady decline, as a meeting held yesterday, which, according to Simon Cusens, was supposedly attended by 110 guests, was in reality attended by only around a dozen Maltese guests and a few foreigners. Simon Cusens is the Grand Master of the Sovereign Grand Lodge of Malta.
The Police have refused to investigate or interrogate Simon Cusens over his involvement in the Technoline-Vitals deals, however his previous employee, Ivan Vassallo, is being charged. You can read our detailed report here. He is bound to step down as Grand Master next November.
The Sovereign Grand Lodge of Malta was outed by The Maltese Herald for being the preferred masonic lodge for individuals associated with the Labour-government. Simon Cusens was outed for the first time as the Grand Master of the SGLOM here. Individuals like Gavin Gulia and Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando were also members of the lodge in the past. Adrian Hillman who is also being charged in the Vitals case was also a Freemason.
Simon Cusens has filed a libel case against us, to which we still need to reply, as we were not notified of the case.
