The United Arab Emirates releases bizarre statement on Sudan: does not deny it is attacking Port Sudan

Following Sudan’s declaration naming the United Arab Emirates as an aggressor state, the UAE released a very bizarre and ridiculous statement where they said that they are defending Sudan from Islamic tyrants and are supporting the Sudanese people to achieve democracy.

The Untied Arab Emirate is a theocratic dictatorship and a monarchy ruled by a man called Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed. The UAE has no direct historic link with Sudan and is neither a country that usually promotes democracy or democratic values.

The UAE is financing and supporting the genocidal Rapid Support Forces in Sudan for business and commercial interests, but mostly to acquire gold and gold mines in Darfur. The RSF are currently looting gold from Sudan to sell it in the UAE.

The RSF has lost the war militarily against the Sudanese Armed Forces and is instead turning to war crimes and massacres as a military tactic to force the Sudanese government into negotiations. Following the military losses of the RSF, the UAE has now begun attacking Port Sudan with drones.

Port Sudan is the main recipient of humanitarian aid to Sudan, and attacking Port Sudan may hurt millions of people currently waiting for humanitarian aid.

The UAE attacked Port Sudan for the fourth consecutive day yesterday. Sudan declared the UAE an aggressor state for its attacks against its commercial harbour.
