Khalifa Haftar hosts RSF Camp south of Kufra: Al-Fashir besieged with drones

An extensive investigation by the Centre for Information Resilience has revealed that Khalifa Haftar, the rump dictator of east Libya, is hosting a camp of the genocidal Rapid Support Forces just a few kilometers south of Kufrah. Kurah also has an airport which receives cargo flights from Bosaso in Somalia and the United Araba Emirates allegedly carrying military hardware. Military cargo is also suspected to have arrived in the south of Libya at Matan as Satta airport.

In June, Khalifa Haftar’s military forces invaded Sudan from the Libyan Border Triangle and fought against the Sudanese Armed Forces. The Rapid Support Forces now claim they have control over the border of Libya with Sudan. It was already widely reported that Khalifa Haftar was supplying the RSF with trucks.

Khalifa Haftar downplayed his invasion of Sudan as a simple security operation against criminal smuggling and also denies he supports the RSF and that he is a party to the war in Sudan but extensive evidence contradict all his claims.

Meanwhile, the RSF are currently using drones to besiege Al-Fashir in Sudan where a famine is unfolding. Sudanese residents trying to flee Al-Fashir are also being shot and killed by the RSF. Previously, the United Arab Emirates supplied the RSF with drones and also used drones to attack the city of Port Sudan.

Footage below shows a mother feeding her child locusts and women praying in Al-Fashir.
