Kevin Deguara’s business partner is now also involved in Saint Patrick’s Football Club

The owner of Malta’s real-estate project called Shoreline in Smart City, Kalkara, Ryan Edward Otto has become the President of Saint Patrick’s Football Club. Kevin Deguara who is a business partner of Ryan Edward Otto, and also involved in Shoreline, was the previous president of the club and has now been appointed Honorary President.

Basically, a group of real-estate investors who have an ongoing real-estate project in Smart City, led and organised by Kevin Deguara, have taken over Saint Patrick’s Football Club. Their takeover came just before the government announced a new road linking Cottonera Gate and Smart City. Saint Patrick’s Football Club want to build a bar at the entrance of the road.

Kevin Deguara was a very close associate of disgraced ex-Premier Joseph Muscat, is currently charged with money-laundering in the Vitals case, and was also involved in the purchase of BOV’s junk-loan portfolio.

ADPD and Moviment Graffitti are opposing the construction of the new road which will take up agricultural land and green areas.
