A Palestinian-Canadian doctor who runs a medical and humanitarian organisation called Glia, and worked at the Nasser Medical Complex in Gaza said that casualties from humanitarian aid-sites run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation have reached up to 550 casualties. Tarek Loubani, an experienced physician working in disaster areas, also shared X-ray screens of patients shot at these sites.
One X-ray image that he shared, shown here, is of a young girl with a bullet in her chest. The doctor said that the girl was being held in her mother’s arms when she was shot. Another physician who worked alongside Dr Loubani confirmed his claims.
The Palestinian Authority has accused Hamas of shooting and Palestinians trying to reach aid by the GHF, but Israeli soldiers also admitted of shooting at Palestinians near the aid-sites to conduct crowd control.
