All the Members of Parliament who were investigated over their declarations of assets

More on why the publication of Yorgen Fenech’s chats with Rosianne Cutajar is in the public interest.

Before the government barred the regular publication of the Declaration of Assets submitted by members of parliament, the Commission for the Standards of Public Life was investigating various MPs over their declarations. The government shut down this practice to avoid further investigations. These are the MPs who were investigated by the Standards Commission over their declarations.

Prime Minister Robert Abela – Undeclared assets and income. Eeventually picked up by the FIAU.

Bernard Grech – Undeclared assets and income. Also followed by the FIAU.

Clayton Bartolo – Fraud and undeclared income. Currently under police investigation and the charges are also ready but he has not been arraigned in Court yet.

Rosianne Cutajar – Fraud and undeclared income. Investigated by the Police following the publication of her chats with Yorgen Fenech.

    It does not take much to figure out why the Government of Robert Abela has taken the crooked step to bar the publication of MPs” assets when the prime person to be investigated is the Prime Minister himself. Rosianne Cutajar had also given a practical but true reason “mhux kulhadd jithanzer!”
