Tulsi Gabbard throws silly distractions while debate on Epstein files unfolds

The US Director of National Intelligence and Russian asset Tulsi Gabbard is throwing some distractions while politicians on the Hill keep discussing the Epstein files. The much Russian loved Intelligence Director, released a ten-page file with selected quotes from intelligence reports that state that Russia did not hack the electoral system and supposedly this proves that Russia did not interfere in the US elections. You can find the file here.

The ridiculous media document that Tulsi Gabbard released also blames previous President Barack Obama of inventing the “Russia hoax”. Russia directly supported Donald Trumpโ€™s 2016 election campaign, with up to six members of his inner circle convicted for illicit activities related to Russian interference, one of whom, Paul Manafort, received undeclared funding from the Russian government. Russia also helped Donald Trump’s election campaign with troll farms and an internet propaganda campaign run by the Wagner Group and Russian government sponsored entities. Russian hackers also hacked the Democrat’s email servers and leaked the contents to Wikileaks to undermine the election campaign of Hilary Clinton.

Another ridiculous distraction recently released by the Director of National Intelligence is the announcement of the digitisation Martin Luther King files. The most important documents of these files were already publicly available and it is highly unusual that the Director of National Intelligence would get involved in digitising public archives.

Meanwhile, politicians on the Hill haven’t stopped discussing about the Epstein files and the recent news that President Trump will release the files of Jeffrey Epstein’s Grand Jury was not met with satisfaction. Most of the information in the Grand Jury testimonies have also already been reported by the press.

A Congressional bipartisan bill called the Epstein Files Transparency Act (HR 4405) has been created by Republican House member Thomas Massie and Democrat Ro Khanna. The bill is being supported by various Republicans who are also loyal Trump supporters such as Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert. However, Congress Chair Mike Johnson is refusing to bring the bill to the floor for a vote. House Republicans also voted down a proposal by Demcorats to release the Epstein files in a legislative committee.
