The leader of the genocidal-Rapid Support Forces, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemedti), has given a a delusional speech while his troops massacre civilians in Al-Fashir, and Bara, saying that he wants to unite the country. He also said that talks in Washington were useless because the Sudanese government was only represented by the Foreign Minister who only serves as decoration.
Sudanese media reports that the US government is not interested in following through with the failed talks and will not be directly involved if a ceasefire is announced.
Hemedti splits his time between Nairobi, Kenya and the United Arab Emirates. He also visits Darfur and the RSF-occupied territories where he makes staged propaganda shows.
In his speech, he also said that his troops will withdraw from Al-Fashir and security taken over by his police forces. He said that there will be an investigation on the atrocities committed and that civilians should not be harmed although this statements mean very little to the civilians being killed by the RSF.
The RSF’s war in Sudan, which is funded and backed by the United Arab Emirates, is geocidal in its intent and all the evidence supports this fact. The RSF succeeded the Janjaweed militias, which committed the Darfur genocide in the early 2000s.
Reports from Al-Fashir state that the civilian death toll from the RSF’s massacre exceeds 2000 people with up to 450 people killed at the Saudi Teaching Hospital incident alone. The Red Crescent workers featured here have reportedly also been murdered. The workers were from Bara, another city in North Kordofan where the RSF is currently also conducting atrocities against civilians including beadings.
An RSF soldier , shown below, uploaded a clip online in response to the global outcry about the RSF’s massacre in Al-Fashir and said that:
“They say about us, ‘They raped, killed, stole and looted people’s property and things like that…, brother, this is our right, do you understand? This is our right, and we took it, right? And we raped your sisters and daughters, right?”
There has been a global outcry against the RSF’s massacres in Al-Fashir but so far only Arab states have explicitly condemned the RSF, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar. The EU has underscored the barbarity of the RSF but stopped short of condemning them. Instead, the EU appealed to the RSF to protect civilians. Britain, Germany and France also took a similar line to the EU and condemned the atrocities without explicitly condemning the RSF while also appealing to the RSF to protect civilians.
The official Twitter account (X.com) of the RSF government called TASSIS has been removed.
