Sudanese Armed Forces to fight on: state that up to 7,000 civilians killed by the RSF in Al-Fashir

The Sudanese Armed Forces have reiterated that they will continue fighting the Rapid Support Forces until the terrorist militia is disarmed and disbanded. The SAF was proposed a ceasefire by US Envoy to Africa Massad Boulos  but it was rejected unless the RSF disarm and disband. In a statement given by Defence Minister Lieutenant General Hassan Daoud Kabron, the SAF reiterated that it aims to see the RSF militia disbanded.

Massad Boulos is in Cairo holding back-to back meetings with representatives from Arab and African nations and President Donald Trump has diverted his attention to Nigeria.

A Sky News report, citing sources from the RSF is reporting that up to 7,000 civilians have been killed in Al-Fashir. Footage proves that civilians who tried to escape Al-Fashir were stopped and rounded up by the RSF. Separately, investigative reports show that the RSF conquered Al-Fashir and killed its civilians with clear genocidal intent.

The International Criminal Court has opened an investigation on the massacres in Al-Fashir.
