Joseph Muscat’s latest interview clip in his office displayed the gifts given to him by his Chinese friends or state officials. They include a frame with a Chinese calligraphy and also a collection of block-stamps with more Chinese script.
Joseph Muscat has business ties with the Chinese such as Delsk which ran a fraudulent immigration scheme to Malta with Chinese nationals renting ghost apartments in Malta in order to be able to obtain EU-visas. The subsidiary company, Destination Europe (Malta), had to stop its operations after the company’s bank accounts were frozen and the owner, Wang Jing, was charged in Cyprus for fraud.
I am told that the stamps on the back reads “Sino-Maltese Friendship” but the background artwork is not fully visible, so anyone who can help translating it please do.
