The same Police investigators who investigated and hauled to Court Silvio Grixti, are the same investigators who investigated Rosianne Cutajar over money-laundering, fraud and the embezzlement of public funds. These investigators are known to be of integrity but their superior is Fabian Fleri who is a Labour Party supporter. Fabian Fleri’s superior is Police Commissioner Angelo Gafa.
It is deeply chilling that the same group of investigators were able to arraign one politician in court, yet failed to charge another—one who is known to be part of an extensive organised criminal network operating under the patronage of Joseph Muscat, and which has repeatedly evaded prosecution and investigation for multiple offences and crimes.
Silvio Grixti, who was part of Chris Fearne’s camp, was hauled to Court over allegations of fraud: the medical doctor and previous Labour MP is accused in Court of referring individuals with illnesses and social problems to social-benefits schemes that they weren’t eligible for. His alleged fraud helped many individuals in difficult medical conditions to obtain much needed relief – many of whom ended up in severe financial distress following the government’s attempt to clawback some of these benefits. Dr Grixti’s methods are questionable, for sure, but his crimes are on a different level compared to those who sought to enrich themselves.
Rosianne Cutajar is part of an organised criminal group that has had extensive support by the Prime Minister and also influence in the Justice system. She has been aided and helped by the Attorney-General and the Police Commissioner has potentially covered-up her case in what seems to be a very extensive criminal conspiracy with an organised criminal group.
