Ukraine recaptures territory as Putin’s allies fall down

Ukraine has recaptured up to 460KM squared of territory and up to eight provinces this year according to latest and official Ukrainian sources. Most of the gains have been concentrated around along the southern frontline, namely the Zaporizhzhia region but advances have also been registered in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Meanwhile, the Russians are applying more pressure on Lymna in Donetsk.

Russia is under significant economic pressure this year as Ukraine extends its war on Russia’s Shadow Fleet with pressure supplanted with the backing of European powers. Russia is also reeling from the fallout of the fall of its allies which this year alone include Venezuela’s dictator Nicolás Maduro, and just recently, the Supreme Leader of Iran Ali Khamenei. Both Venezuela and Iran were trading partners of Russia and Iran was also a backer of Russia’s war effort in Ukraine via military supplies and technology.

Russia is still launching daily drones attacks on Ukrainian civilians and infrastructure with up to 149 drones launched at civilians last night alone.

Talks between Ukraine and Russia as mediated by the US are now suspended after Russia kept insisting on acquiring Ukrainian territory including territory that it has not yet controlled militarily.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky confirmed that the US and the Gulf countries requested Ukraine for expertise help on countering Iranian drones. The Ukrainian President however said that Ukraine has still not yet sent its experts and this potential cooperation is still being discussed with Ukraine being very willing to provide it.
