Sometimes it’s better to shut up and say nothing, but Labour government Ministers are as dumb as they come. While some of them are bringing up the ghost of Żeppi l-Ħafi to defend Minister Glenn Bedingfield over his enormous gaffe, they are conveniently forgetting that Police Commissioner Angelo Gafa covered up for one of Malta’s largest ever cocaine traffickers Christian Borg.
Christian Borg, a major cocaine trafficker, benefitted from Police protection due to his friendship and association with Prime Minister Robert Abela.
Christian Borg’s funds which were acquired from cocaine proceeds, were legitimised and legalised by the taxman following a deal with the taxman which avoided him prosecution over money-laundering.
This is the extent of the wealth of Christian Borg: villas, lions and Dubai bank accounts. He has a multi-million Euro worth business empire that includes a large rental car fleet.
Meanwhile, I’m posting below the private residence of Żeppi l-Ħafi to present the comparison. Żeppi l-Ħafi lived in one of these flats and got by selling soft drinks following his criminal history.
There is truly no comparison to the extent of criminality brought and abetted by the Labour government.
