Georgia’s Preident Salome Zourabichvili declares the government as illegitimate and asks foreign governments not to recognise it

Georgia’s President Salome Zourabichvili held a press conference along the pro-European Opposition Leader Tina Bokuchava and the United National Movement, and declared the election result as invalid and the ruling-government as illegitimate. The President also called for street protests, and for foreign governments not to recognise the incumbent government. The election was mired in fraud by the supporters of the ruling-party.

The pro-Russia ruling party, Georgian Dream declared victory despite exit polls showing clearly that it lost by landslide.
