Table football star, Spencer Conti shines in Guerin, Reggio Calabria

Maltese athletes continue to shine in table football, representing Malta with considerable success outside our shores.

Last weekend, the Guerin tournament in Reggio Calabria, Italy, took place, where Spencer Conti won two bronze medals.

In the individual category, Conti reached the semifinals with five consecutive wins. He was eventually defeated by Nicolo Colossi with a score of 2-1 after extra time.

In the table football team category, Conti and Reggio Calabria SC won their group and advanced to the semifinals. They were unfortunately overcome by the strength of Barcelona CT.

The participation of Maltese athletes continues to be made possible thanks to the support of SportMalta and the Maltese Olympic Committee.
